I could care less for the snow. There's no good places to really play in it and all it's done is make my hour drive home an hour and a half longer

 

Anyone in the oakland county area have recommendations for quality auto body shops? I want to get my Jeep painted at some point and I just want to start planning. I don't have much faith in shops so I usually go for recommendations if I have to go that route.

Nice XJ, there is a ton of trails that lead everywhere in the state. when you do move here get an ORV trail map and get the Rule book as well, the rule book is free and the map is a few bucks.

Hey MI Jeepers,

I just acquired my first Jeep last week. A tidy '94 Country XJ with 130k and some mild rusting, and a bad need for bushings and new leaf springs.

Already have some things done to revitalize it... New valve cover and gasket, a CAI for that wonderful noise, some fresh speakers to liven up the original cassette, and some fresh snows to tackle the mud and snow around my area... I live down some nasty dirt roads.

Thank you. I finally got to Cadillac in late Feb. I ended up getting OHV stickers and doing the Detroit Gambler 500 as a recovery vehicle. It was a lot of fun.

Anybody reasonable close to me want to go wheelin?
