Yeah, I work with a retired drill sgt. Who was a marine before that. hes taught me a lot. I can't wait! But it will be sad not to see the blessing. But my dad and a couple of guys I run trails with will be there. And my brothers been bugging me about him "taking care" of my heep while I'm gone.

First day of basic the DI beat my **s, I was late for a meeting he had. Good times in the army, spent 13 years in service. Then got out, I saw one war and that was enough.
So anyone have connections to get some t-shirts made for this trip? We didn't get it done last year but it would be a good thing to do for our second annuel trip.
Also maybe we could get a Pic & pull outing lined up with maybe a lunch or dinner at "Cheers"?

I'll give ya a call tomorrow, at work right now. Maybe I'll check around tomorrow and see what shirts will cost. We'll need to come up with a design also.
Stayed up late last night and watched the lions. Found out I use less mixer in my drinks as I consume more of them......weird

I would assume ( I know never assume) that if the shop does printing and such they would also supply the shirts wouldn't they? But if were wanting the higher end t-shirts/sweatshirts I can do some checking on line and see what cost would be, then check into what the cost would be to get them customized.
At first thought, this will be a more expensive way to go about things. But the good news is we have some time to research this. So I'll start researching stuff tomorrow( monday, tuesday, and friday are my days off. Friday is set aside for new ink work).
So I'll start doing that and I'll post some results when I get them. As a side note, we'll be camping (many of us) for 2 nights. What are the thoughts of getting some sponsors so we can have some drawings at the camp fire. Maybe a 50/50 drawing with proceeds going to the "Wounded Warrior" project?

And I haven't seen you guys since the blessing last year, I'd drive out for a meeting or whatever for sure.

Btw welcome and come join us sometime bunch of good helpful people here. Just stay away from people that have wranglers, especially if they don't own a cherokee anymore.

Have you ever heard of motorcycles being blessed at the start of the season? Same thing. It's a huge gathering of jeeps that are blessed by a pastor, priest, father or which ever you refer to them as. There are all sorts of vendors and companies that have booths set up, and obstacle courses are set up too, including the one known only as chadville. We camp at an orv park not to far and wheel there for the weekend too.
