Wheeling on SE Ohio backroads
So i guess a very popular place to wheel was "stone Quarry road" in Vinton county. Apparently the commissioners have voted to vacate this road and now it will become part of ODNR's new APV area down there.
It never occurred to me that Vinton county had so many disused/unmaintained township roads. And since they are still official roads, they are perfectly legal to travel on.
Makes me wish i knew about it sooner so i could have enjoyed this road, but it would seem there are others. Anybody else know of any abandoned roads in the area that you like to wheel on?
As an aside, its aggravating how now so many places, ODNR included, just cater to SxS and ATVs. Heck they say there is an unlimited width on SxS, so then why cant you take jeeps, blazers, samurais, ect on them?

Cool, I live in western Ohio and my brother in-law knows some nice mudding spots in his area.
Even though most of Western Ohio is flat it still has hills where I live.
