Quote: Same here! I'm trying to teach myself as much as possible, but it's not easy without any help. I see a couple lifted XJ's here and there, but don't seem to find many people close to me on the forum.

I'm actually just outside of Detroit in Warren. About 5 miles east of I75 off 696, if you know where that is. I have it as Detroit because more people are familiar with that.

Where are you located?

I go to Kettering, so half the year I'm in Flint and the other half I'm wherever the hell my co-op decides to send me. I have a fraternity brother who's from Shelby Township that has a really clean MJ. I think he bought it a few years ago with something like 30k miles on it.

Side note, anybody know of a good offroading shop in the area? I really don't have access to a place to do an 8.8 swap, so I think I might have to pay someone to swap it.

I've been there to get some u bolt. The guy there are excellent. They can tell rather I have a D35 or C8.25 just by looking at the u bolt.

Quote: I'm in the Detroit area. Just north of it in Warren to be exact.

My jeep is currently stock, but that will change in the next couple months. When the time comes, mainly just looking for some fun trails to ride. Nothing crazy and no rocks, since my XJ is my DD.

I'm off of Warren & Outer drive

What clubs are you guys all members of? I'm looking for one right now. I mostly bounce back and forth between Flint and Auburn Hills (quite the difference, I know).
