Badlands or Redbird Trip

Finally getting the XJ done and trying to plan a trip to one of the above. This will be my first offroad adventure in a jeep (ATV's When was younger) and was wondering which is the better location? Do you and how often do any of you guys get together for trips to either location? If anyone is planning a trip do you let newbies come along for lessons?

Redbird is fun I have never been to badlands.

How often do you go there?

Haven't been in a while. Got rid of my jeep last year then just got back into one a few months back. Trying to get it off road ready.

We've had our jku for 4 years it just finished getting my xj ready minus lockers. Trying to find people to make a trip since it's my first time offroad in something other than ATV or dirtbike

Headed to Redbird on the 23 of this month. There is a big High lift event out there that day.

Cool
Just finishing up getting my axle back under the XJ. Installed a spartan LCA skids some bracing. Should be back on road tomorrow. Where can I fund info on that event?

Well 4wd parts sent an e-mail to my buddy. Normal $10 to get in they are doing a lunch and door prize type stuff.
