Hey we are getting closer!!! Winona is just a, what would you say, a 6 rock skip from La Crosse up and accross the mighty Mississippi River?

It is sitting in the driveway! It turned out the 98 was in definite better shape. I will get photos tomorrow to dark now. Probably paid a little much at 2400 but my mechanic put his computer in it and it checked out good. Test drive yielded a possible bearing issue front driver side. The steering for me elk let's just say i will need to get used to our have someone like you neighbor drive it and tell me is something is strange, possibly from the bearing? The exhaust will need a replacement soon... the trans could probably use a flush and change...

Other than that it wasn't bad. A little smaller than what i thought.. but hey i am a Cherokee owner now!

Just moved it.. noticed the one headlight is dimer than the other.. hopefully that isn't a bad sign. Plus i wasn't ready for the headlights to stay on for a little but after turning the Cherokee off... I thought something was wrong...

 

Franksville here, west of the freeway. Picked up a 95 xj on Dec. 31 that needed some work and have been fixing it as time permits. Need to fix one more oil leak at the rms then I can focus on the lift and other fun stuff. Not looking forward to paying a shop to install the lift though!

 

Whitehall here! Almost directly between lacrosse and eau claire. Just picked up a 96 for a good deal, only has 108k miles on it!

alot of new guys on here which is good have to get up to my second home and wheel with some of you guys i really want to go to the pipe line but it it like 7 hour ride for me

Where at by Arcadia? I'm 22 miles from there. Worked at cummins for a little over 2 years, and know the area fairly well.

 

hey smelt just wanted to chime in about the pipeline, im from green bay and we run the pipeline a lot, it is closed till after memorial weekend, it opens june 1st, just figured i would throw that out there before anyone made a trip up. otherwise if anyone is interested in meeting up sometime for a pipeline run im always down to go and be tour guide!

 

yeah i know they started closing it last year i heard i will be up at my cabin memorial day weekend but i don't feel like making the drive then it would have to be a separate trip for me.
