I can't beleive no ones posted this. WOHVA is working hard on bringing a completely public area for us Wisconsin wheelers. Almost brings a tear to my eye. I know this has been an ongoing battle... Hope I'm not just being naive. Interesting article altogether though.

It is in the far NW corner of WI. I'm in the far SE corner of WI. So crappy location for me. :(

I wish they'd open up Bong to trail vehicles.

Are you joking? You're right, I don't have the right to impose my recreational interests on others. Neither do you. The problem is when you blast through the woods on a noisy polluting white-trash machine you impose it on everyone for miles around. Disgusting.

Yepp, I'm in SE Wisconsin too but 10,000 acres sure is alot. Would be nice to have an official place, even if it is just one more. I'm actually venturing to the U.P. in a couple weeks for some wheeling so distance isn't the worst comparitively. Also I thought Bong was typically flat? Was going to take my atv but decided against it.

I don't mind the drive but it would be nice to have a closer one to where I reside. There are spots I can go but they're illegal and the mudders have it torn up pretty good. :thumbdown:

I live in Milwaukee actually. Parents house is in Mequon, along with my job so I am there quite often. They have willingly let me take over there 2 car garage so its my shop! Litteraly might spend more time in there than at my house, hence I threw out both cities. I know theres land in cedarburg that has a couple events every year but its a mud bath for sure. From what I understand it's open every Sunday (when warmer) but I have to check on that!

I took my old truck out to that place in cedarburg. If you don't know the path you'll need someone who does. There are some ruts there that will cover your jeep easily if you go after a rain. The place is nice though but gets torn up by the mudders.

I work in oak creek and live down in franksville south of 7 mile fair. Not too far away :thumbup:

Lol. I can't do anything until I find a lift. I can't make up my mind on which one to get.

Btw, there are some other guys here from se wi but not many. Other 2 I found were from the north side (north west i think) of Milwaukee and Franklin. :thumbup:

I remember filling out a survey about this quite a while back. Good to finally hear that the idea is still alive.
