Put on some Walmart off road lights yesterday while on a 30 min break at work. Didn't get to wire them up. I plan on that today. Will get pics when done.

Been working on a 1995 XJ with the 4.0 HO. 31" tires, 3 1/2" RE lift, AX15 tranny, stock gears. When I picked it up, rough idle, sputtered under load at 60-65 mph, running a tad hot.
First thing I repaired 3-4 cracked vacuum lines and helped the idle a bit.
Next, I welded in a new down pipe and installed a new O2 sensor. Mileage picked up a bit.
Next thing was a tune up and I found a bad wire on the #6 cylinder. New distributor cap, wires, rotor. Then I found the #6 plug was badly fouled because of the bad wire. This fixed the stumble at speed and mileage increased by quite a bit. I am calculating close to 19 mpg on highway at 65 mph.
I replaced the transmission mount with a polyurethane mount and tightened up the driveline really good.
Next I started looking at heat issues. I flushed the syatem and put in fresh fluids. Then I changed the thermostat to a new 195 deg. unit....replaced a 180 deg. I also replaced the radiator cap with a new 13 psi cap. Now, it runs a tad over 210 deg. all the time instead of cycling up to near red like it was. I plan on doing the fan clutch next just to eleminate the chance it is weak.
The Jeep is running like a new vehicle now. Idles smooth and has plenty of power and really good mileage. A front lockright locker helped immensely in the rocks and hill climbing. I will be removing the welded up spider gears in the rear soon and going with a posi unit.
Next up is new rear bump stops, stiffeners, and skid plates. The plan is to keep it very streetable and still an awesome offroad rig. I traded 120 ounces of silver bullion bars for the rig and am glad I did.

I thought my slave cylinder went out on me the other night while cruising around town and finally got a chance to give it a look. Went to pull the slave cylinder and found out the push arm is adjustable. So easy fix there. Then I decided to give myself a headache and dig in the wiring. The couple guys that have seen the mess knew what kind of chore it was going to be. Next is the vacuum nightmare.
After plastic sheathing was pulled off.
All the extras. (Yes it still runs)
After sheathing was put back on. No more extra plugs just hanging out there.

will keep the voltage from running through your switch. eventually your switch will burn out if you wire them through it. Also will let your lights see a true 12 volts. depends on how many light you're running but you could have dim lights if you run several off the same power and ground
