Project is coming along smoothly! Cant wait to do my build thread! Also, my rig will be "Reliable"! I can go wheeling with y'all soon! Looking for a set of 32"or 33" bfg all terrains in decent shape, I have lots of stuff to trade!

yeah mine hit a brick wall when i found the broken stud in my head. now im waiting to pull the head so i can send it to the machine shop. what a pain in the ***, think im at 2 months without driving her, or even starting her

How much is it costing to get the head bolt out wouldn't it be cheaper and faster to buy a rebuilt head ? And drill the bolt out yourself

no im going to get it out. just want them to deck it and clean her up. plus i might just have them port and polish it. and maybe. just maybe oversized valves

Hey guys I have a 2001 xj in pretty good shape 4 door auto 2wd looks great runs good but have an electrical problem someweres that we just can't figure out! Some guy wants to buy it he needs a lil time to get his money together but I need another xj. Road worthy mine tries to speed up ever sence I hit the cruise control no matter what I do I just can't figure it out I hit the brakes my motor keeps on wanting to go. Interiors perfect outside its pretty good clear coats starting to flake no big big deal it's not to bad I want 1200 but just letting y'all know it has to go soon so I can start looking for a new project if he doesn't come soon enought I will let it go are part her out just letting know locally people before I start shipping parts everywere! And I'm located in new Iberia la are if anyone ever herd of my problem please let me know message me if interested!

Yea but man I did everything checked everything hooked it up on a computer checked all everything. It won't stop sence it did that cruise control problem I'm trying to stop its wanting to keep going

And it doesn't do anything till I get up to 35 40 than it starts doing it I don't even have to give it gas it'll just start taking off climbing in speed continuously

Yea that's cool. Me and my best friend xj beans we been looking for people to kick it with! Lol Im prolly gonna sale it it's more money than what I wanna spend on it! So I'ma start looking for a 4x4 a lil older something I won't worry about every lil thing with it my 01s just stupid nice to start citing up and stuff

yeah i only know one guy with a cherokee around here, so morr cherokee people to hang out with is always good. unfortunately mine is still down, mockin me every time i walk by. think im auctually gonna pull the head today, maybe. but its hot, and a 11 hour work day and im tired so we shall see

usually im on top of it and get everything fixed fast. just dont know what i want to do yet. still weighing the options, new motor, stroker, cam, head, ect. way too many ways to go
