Hello All,

I have an older Jeep Cherokee XJ 91 4x4 with a lift. I have brought my jeep to two mechanics so far and haven't been very impressed since I feel like there are still a good amount of idling issues(the xj violently shakes while idling in neutral), random knocking sounds, etc etc. when driving the vehicle. Hell the last mechanic I brought it too told me "It's an old jeep...what do you expect" which wasn't the answer I was looking for.

I was curious if someone who is in the DFW area has a recommendation for good mechanic that can do a methodical once over and/or is good at diagnosing these older cherokees. I'd like to get a plan of attack for bringing my baby up to fighting weight or make a decision to sell him off for parts.
