Hey guys, haven't been over here for a while cause... I sold my xj last summer. Rolling a fzj80 now, and still wheeling. Can anyone say factory electric lockers and four wheel disc brakes? Plus it has room for my whole fam damily! I get cherokeeforum emails still so I would still be up for going with yall, I just may have to anchor on to one of you if we go in the mud, this thing is truly an iron pig and no where near floats like a xj in the mud. If you all get something together I'm in.

I probably could use the help...
I miss my xj in the mud, that thing NEVER got stuck. I have only been trying to go the places the xj went with the 80. However, the xj did have on brand new KM2's and those is some bad muddin' and rock crawlin' tires.
BTW, the xj went to a guy in Yukon.
This is what it looked like when I sold it:
And this is the fzj at the top of poughkeepsie in August:
I wouldn't admit this over at the cruiser sites, but I followed my dad up poughkeepsie in an unlocked xj. He had the flex, but I had the lockers!

I will keep an eye out for the XJ...
Good looking Cruiser, looks like you have all the seating you could need... I love that area of CO as well.

Thanks, it is rough but I am working on it. Not gonna wear out the credit card this time, already built a front winch bumper and working on sliders and gathering material for homebrew coil spacers, rear bumper with swingout next. I'm up for a trail run too, if you guys will let me play. The FJ guys are a bunch of yuppies (maybe I am too...).

Just some private property in Tuttle that I have never been to. The Oklahoma Trailchasers go there and I have a friend from another forum that is part of the Oklahoma Trailchasers and knows the land owner. So I would have to have him meet us out there...however I don't think I will be "off roading" my XJ in the near future.

If it is the one I have been to it is not that good, just a bunch of ups and downs in a dirt "canyon". It was ok, but it wasn't Clayton. I am not sure I would even go back. It was southwest of town, towards amber on the west side of the road. More of a play spot than actual four wheeling. Just my opinion...
