New owner in OKC here. I'm going to swap from 2wd and just pulled the bad motor. I have most of the parts to get everything swapped over, just need to find the wrench time.

I guess I'll revive this thread. in Edmond/okc area. I just repossessed my Jeep back from a guy that decided to not pay me the rest of my money, and wouldn't even bother coming to get the title from me. I located where he was keeping it at his work, and went and picked it up.
although about a month ago, he put a hole in the block claiming it happened at idle... but I call b/s on it because that doesn't just happen. He had the jeep for almost a year and just let it run into the ground...

So now I have to find a motor for it for a reasonable price.

anyone have any leads for less than $900 for a motor for a 1999?
or have any spare blocks they know that will work?
I have looked up engine compatibilities here, but even then I'm still confused on the deal.

I'm here from the tinker area trying to find a standard transmission tuned ECM and engine harness for a 98 if anyone has one for sale.

Any one in the NE Oklahoma area bend tubing for cages?

3500 Hack N Tap driveshaft (no vibrations at any speed), New Pro Comp offset rims, Newer 15x11x31 tires, Rebuilt upper engine (New head, Cam, Lifters, rods and valves), 3 core all aluminum radiator, Smittybuilt Rock crawler Winch bumper, electric cooling fans, vented hood. Runs and drives had a pin hole in the radiator last time I drove it but is plugged atm.. Dekota steering box, beefed up sway bar. Used as a daily driver for awhile. 200+k miles. Hate to get rid of it but time to get rid of my toy. $3000 worth of Parts were all installed within the last 12 months. Has a Rebuilt title due to hail damage
