Need help in Dallas
 

I'm hauling a car to OKC and my clutch exploded in Dallas last night. If anyone has a dually and would like to make a few dollars give me a call. I was supposed to have this car delivered at 8 this morning and I'm waiting on a very pissed of customer to call.

Even a half ton truck and a one car trailer would work. $300 to run up to OKC and back.

$400 there and back. If I don't deliver this car today then the dealer will lose the sale and have to haul it back to Louisiana to free.

Well never mind, the dealership is sending another truck to pick it up. I will lose the money from this load since I can not make the final delivery but **** happens. Suck it up and keep going.

That sucks bud...

Well this has just turned out to be a great adventure. The trans in the truck was completely destroyed, grenaded a few gears. $4855 for a rebuilt trans and a heavy duty clutch and it didn't make it 10 miles away from the repair shop today. Can't get over 2,000 RPMs without it slipping and redlining the engine. They have to pull the trans back out on Monday and install the "extreme duty" ceramic clutch.

So here I sit for another weekend in Dallas losing money.
