Man, when I was at Hood, I'd love it when the TA that they had for off-roading was one the the 2nd AD had gone through. Those M-1's can really make some great 4wd trails. Sorry, not there now. Was back in '92 and '93.

Simman are you new to Hood? I recommend getting an area access pass and a fishing license. Even if you never plan on fishing, those two things will get you impunity driving on the tank trails of choice. Combined its like 15 bucks at the MWR.

I wouldn't mind meeting with other jeepers after I get back from this nice summer camp in Afghanistan. Out towards the back of Belton Lake there are some nice trails and spots to get yourself into.
