Just learning Jeeps, so you have me there. Not even sure what brand the set is. RC's maybe?
EDIT: After doing some looking it looks more like a Rubicon than anything else. Not sure which yet. I'll see what I can get off them.

two 1" blocks steal

Not sure of lift height for this but there are a couple kits that use blocks and they are usually 3" lifts.

Thanks for the play by play.
Thought I had a 3" lift.....
I contacted Rubicon and it is actually a 4.5" lift kit (Counted coils in spring). It is pre 2002. I was thinking about replacing all the bushings and getting the missing components. Looks like I'm possibly missing bump stops, and definately missing end links, brake line extensions, a transfer case lowering kit. I guess now I'll also need a SYE for my 242?
I'd trade all this for a 3" lift if anyone is interested....

Its all up to you but if you do a 3 then later you wanna go higher you'll kick yourself for letting this go and not found it when you had a chance. Just saying.

What links? And I'm running g 4.5 with stock brake lines. Tcase no prob some washers can get you by. As for the install I'm sure several of us can help out. Just start looking for the bushings as that can be a chore and expensive for what you get.

I had MT 33's and sold them thinking it would be too expensive to go to a 4.5 lift. Now I have some ~31's for my semi stock 16" rims. I'll have to go out once or twice stock to at least see what I'm missing and get me razzed up to move to the 4.5, but like you said, I'd probably kick myself if I sell it and go with a 3. I know it was that way with some of the racing gear I had on my Lincoln.

I have 31's and did a little rock crawling and was always hanging up but a guy in the group with 33's did fine. Just a small difference but it was enough.

Labor day.... hmmm have to get with the misses as we may be doing a get together, but since she wants to go maybe she will say yes! It'll have to be noonish as I am a weekend dad and have to have the brats back by 6.
4.5 inch is nothing and was the norm of lifts for XJ's. Today people are pushing the 6.5 for a standard and I've seen one at 8+.
