This is weird forum to ask on, but anyone work as gatekeeper at oil field down in Texas or in that area? My mom keeps talking about her and her bf will go down there and do that, she has been talking about that for six months. So, I just wanted to know if anyone works there, and what you like/dislike about it? From what i understand you get to stay in a RV log license plates. I mean if its not so bad I may just move down there and do that for a while.

I drive by them all the time. Some even sell BBQ sandwiches and breakfast tacos on the side to the oilfield trucks. It appears to me to be a lonely, boring *** job but, might fit a retiree.
