Wheeling in the Ouachita National Forest around Lake Winona... Absolutely beautiful and some really fun trails out there.

Maybe that's where we were... We went in off hwy 9 near Paron and followed the trails up and down the mountain. There were two really nice overlooks and then we ended up coming out at the spillway for the lake and took Kanis all the way back through Ferndale.

Yeah there is a campsite right on that overlook that I posted the picture of. A couple of buddies of mine camped up there a while back in a small dome tent but damn near got blown off the mountain and it was like 20 degrees....

I am probably heading back out there today to try to get to know the area a little better. I would love to get some of the Arkansas guys on here to hook up and do some wheeling, I'm also wanting to find some more new spots that are not posted... Seems like everywhere I go has a no trespassing sign and as good as some of the spots look I'm just not digging that ticket...

Let me know when you guys go. I'm down. Usually off on Sundays and Monday's.

I like wheeling, but I like exploring just as much.

Sounds good. Didn't head out today, had other obligations. Now I just popped a CEL so I gotta figure out what's up with that. Nice.

CEL was two misfire codes. Probably from the chaos caused by my TPS taking a dump. Cleared the codes and they have not come back.

I guess this would be Flat Side? We went in from the other side off Hwy 7 and made our way through to the mountain. There is some AWESOME stuff out there. Basically unlimited wheeling on all the trails that split off the forest roads and logging areas. We went all the way through to the other side and came out north of Paron.
