Wisco?!

Closest place I can find to me is the cliffs in northern Illinois. Looking for somewhere closer, I'm in Milwaukee

Appleton here but that's pretty far...

I'm from Hartford. I have yet to find anything closer than the cliffs.

From what I know Wisconsin doesn't really have public trails. You pretty much have to know someone with land you can use otherwise you risk wheeling illegally which we all know doesn't go good here

Pipleline is pretty much mud holes but there are a few rock climbs and it has a pretty cool wash out which is fun at times. Ive been there once and it was worth my hour and a half drive.

Are there any trails to go out with the XJ and do some semi roughing it camping? Not necessarily on a camp site.

I live in Appleton, what trails are there?

From what I see. The pipeline is closed most of the time.

Wisconsin isn't really a trail friendly state even though we have oodles of forest land available for it. Dip**** trucks that tear up trails and destroy everything just for fun has given offroaders a bad reputation. You could always drive down to the cliffs if you really wanted to hit some trails. Appleton isn't so extremely far that the trip would become a hassle.

What cliffs?

High cliff state park? That's the only cliffs I know of. Distance isn't an issue. I have family all over eastern Wisconsin.

It is in northern illinois

Not too bad. 3 hours drive. Probably gonna do it this summer.
