I live about 13 miles from Crystal City Mo. In Crystal City there is an old sand mine. The old mine is owned by a local couple that has used its climate controlled environment for all types of events. It has hosted many weddings, sporting events, paint ball and laser tag, it houses two bars with huge screens for projecting shows or videos. A stage for live entertainment. It has acres of caverns and tunnels, anyway to cut through the chase on July18 & 19 it will host a first time event, An Underground Jeep Crawl. I am in no way involved in this event I just want to pass on info I got off fb, I recommend that you go to "Underground Jeep Crawl" on facebook . There are videos on youtube under the same title so you can view some of the caverns.
There will be 3 levels of courses Stock, Modified, Rock crawler. This event has lots of potential. Hope to see you there.
