Default trying to make a custom snorkel

well i have had my jeep for less then a year and kinda got f'ed on it bc i am over 9 grand into it so i said what the hell just keep going till it is crazy cool. so i am being cheap on putting on a snorkel and i want to make one myself. i have a 2 inch hole drilled out of the back side of the intake box and i am looking to go back to the fire wall with it to come out the fender ( if you can picture this ). i have the spectra 3 inch intake flexible hose to run from the box and to the fender but the hose is too big for the 2 inch hole so i wanted to get the spectra cuplings that go 3 inch to 2 1/2 inch but i dont want all of that mess in the engine bay so i am looking for ideas on how you connected the intake box to the outside pipe parts without tooo much there so if there is any insight thanks
