Need help please!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok so heres the story. I was driving one of my friends home after school yesterday and i leave his house make it about two houses away and my drive shaft breaks off. Im not sure if i can just replace the u joint for the back axle? (i believe thats what its called) so i just want to find out how hard it will be to replace the whole drive shaft if i have to?

If you get the same exact axel that you have it's simple. Swap out like you would any other part

pictures would help explain your situation better. If it tore your yoke up then you may have to replace that. If it just spit out the ujoints then you might just need to replace those. It really all depends on what was damaged. If it messed up your drive shaft that would be a simple replace.
