JeepStock 2016 @ Southern Missouri Off Road Ranch

2016 SIGNUPS ARE OPEN for Midwest Jeepthings's annual JeepStock! Don't miss your chance. Dates of event are September 16-18. We had 165 Jeeps last year, which was a bit much. So we're capping registrations at 150 Jeeps this year. Midwest Jeepthing club member discounts, with an additional early-bird discount for registration & payment before June 20th.

JeepStock is a premier offroading event that's meant to be an affordable (still family-friendly) alternative to a Jamboree. It is tailored for all types of Jeep builds, ranging from stock to extreme. Mild to wild trail-guided groups, so all experience levels are welcome.

The host site is Southern Missouri Off Road Ranch (SMORR), which is a nationally recognized & highly rated off road park. SMORR has a wide variety of trails to serve everyone's tastes. Top notch camping, restroom, and shower facilities. Nearly 1,000 acres of wheeling bliss!

have either of you done this before?
was just curious on some things:
What's the price jump if we miss the earlybird?
are dogs allowed?
With a family friendly atmosphere is beer allowed?
most importantly-are the trails trails? or are the trails mud?
thanks-

I have been to SMORR a few tI messed but not jeepstock. Trails have some mud, depending on rain. Many different levels of trails from mild to insane. Anything over a level 1 are mostly rocks. Belly pans and armor are a good idea.

Regarding dogs, beer etc. Best to check out http://www.smorr.net

Thanks for the feedback, I checked the jeepstock website but didn't think to check the smorr site.
Would it be safe to say if I'm still at stock height by that point it would be a wasted trip? I've been putting off my lift til after a trip to Wisconsin in August mainly to give a good test on mpg with the engine bolt-ons I've done.
lol I never dreamed I buy a jeep, do every mod I want to it before lifting it.

Stockers have a great time at SMORR too. There will be green/mild trail-guided routes at Jeepstock so beginners and stock Jeeps can hit the trails.

I guided a moderate group all weekend last year with my 3.5" lifted JKU that only has the stock gas tank skid underneath, and our daughter (17yo at that time) ran in our group with her 3.5" lifted XJ with open diffs and no protection underneath. We survived with no carnage, and had an absolute blast.

If you run blue/moderate, you'll pick up some undercarriage scratches and possibly a little wheel rash if you're not careful. Pick a good line, and don't be afraid to ask for a spotter.
