My son has a 2000 Cherokee sport that I delivered about a month ago.
We had to replace the AC Compressor that had quit working when the engine warmed up. The service shop was very experienced and reliable.
The replacement is a Remanufactured unit (NAPA).

Now Rob has the Jeep 12 hours away from (us) and I cant help him.

I am hoping to recommend a reliable and fair business for him to take this and find out what has happened to an otherwise flawless vehicle.

Need more info, where is the jeep at? This will help us better to suggest a shop.

there are a TON of guys in the minneapolis area that are xj owners. just have him hook up with some guys on this site or other sites like this (naxja, jeepforum, etc) and they can give him a hand

Rob works in Bloomington and probably would look for a shop that has lots
of experience with his 2000 Cherokee Sport 6cyl in that area.

Problem right now is the AC quit working. The AC worked fine for the
800 miles I drove it and, of course, -- after Dad delivers the jeep.. MN got some hot weather and the AC wont work.
It has been weeks since I posted this question and you guys were great to reply. ( I was off work and in/out of the hospital)
Now, the AC isnt an issue but I should still attempt to get this fixed since
I have a warranty on the compressor (if that is the problem)

Hoping that there are some shops that someone can recommend that knows this vehicle inside and out. I liked working on it since it seemed pretty straight forward. But, just the same it would be nice to find a shop that LIKES to work on jeep cherokee sports and knows them well.
