if not that I plan to get a long arm setup from either serious offroad orrr.... idk I have not looked a lot into them.. I know RC is local to us but I really don''t want to risk it since you rarely hear anything good about them.

I have pretty much everything rubicon express but with rough country front brake lines you should join "Jeep Cherokee XJ Group" group on facebook. The guys there helped me choose all my parts from amazon so I have free shipping and prices that no one else was offering to beat also if you have never gotten the free trial of amazon prime you can bump that up to 2 day shipping for free and then cancel the prime subscription.

Now quit mentioning selling your xj and build the hell out of it instead. I'll need someone to wheel with eventually.
Tried joining that group about 3-4 times now and every time I go to check on it I have to send a new request. Idk what's up with it!

You gonna run an SYE too?
You got me looking at parts for mine now. Lol.
Well supposedly the way my kit is being setup my pinion SHOULD be back in the correct angle so that I wont need the SYE but if I do then I'll obviously get it. Supposedly you can use a stock front axle with the SYE and can save a lot of money by doing so.

Yeah I was just looking at all that stuff. After reading all your stuff about amazon, I got on there and priced me a nice 5.5" kit I pieced together. Way outta my budget lol. I decided to press my luck and save for the 6.5" RC long arm kit and with a new CV driveshaft and SYE I'll be right at $2k. And a RE long arm 5.5" kit is $2.3k it's a close call but that $2.3k is without a new driveshaft or an SYE.

it'll take me forever to decide on the arm setup.. I'm sure I'll be impatient with everything else ready to go so I may spend the 200 on the nice short arms.. but I'm trying to convince myself to spend the money right the first time..

I've heard that the short arms that come in the super flex kit by RE are actually pretty decent man. Might wanna check em out. I stumbled across a 6.5" LA kit by IRO for the same price as a rough country but no shocks. I may go that route when deciding my other jeep.

I'm currently reading good stuff on this kit. It may interest you. http://www.ironrockoffroad.com/Merch...egory_Code=PFX

edit- I didn't see your post lol might be the kit you mentioned. it comes with shocks though and is 6.5

and the short arms I was looking at are supposed to be even better than the RE arms I'm pricing long arms now but am doing a lot of research.

Yeah that the same kit lol somehow I missed the shocks in the pic and on the content list. Looks like a good setup. Think I'm set on this one once I get my new xj lol.

kind of ticked off I just woke up and brought my stuff in. My coils and track bar were not included even though they are on the list as being delivered. the leaf packs just had a label stuck on each one so they came pre-abused and need a new coat of paint damn they could at least have wrapped them in some bubble wrap.

nope. no boxes or packaging. just thrown on the front steps they look like they were drug down the highway ... I guess they are sturdy though.. but I'll hit them with some more paint.. they could have at least stuck some bubble wrap or that foam/paper type wrap on them to keep them from being so scuffed and scratched up.

on the plus side I forgot the bushings for the leafs and they were included and installed.. I know some companies sell the bushings separate (greedy bastards) lol

got ahold of them the coils and track bar will be here tomorrow.

my track bar mount, shackles, and rear brake line. are still "preparing for shipping" not sure what's up with that but oh well it'll be awhile before I mess with it.

I'm just going to order my shocks tonight since I can't decide if I want to go long arm or not. I'm getting the bilstien 5100 series.

I have the money for short arms and I'm getting impatient and wanting to get my lift on lol the money spent on long arms can get my wheels and deposit on my tires. So who knows.. (Gotta love being debt free at the moment and blowing through cash while I have it)
