Default Chicago Lift Kit Install

Can anyone recommend a good shop where I can take my XJ to get a 3"lift kit installed?

Yes, your front driveway or your garage.
Do it yourself, save the cash.

If you have as much as a cheap socket set, a couple wrenches..and a cheater bar you can do it yourself.

If not, buy the required tools with the money you'd waste paying a shop

Matt at Attitude Performance
I think he is in Elk Grove Village or Oakton-E of 83
I had him install a ARB in the rear diff of my Toyota Tacoma years ago

I also recommend Attitude Performance even though I did do my lift myself. The helped with a bent up bracket. They are in Arlington Heights, on Oakton like RRXJeeper71 said. But be prepared to spend money because you are paying for someone else's time.

Yeah be ready to shell out some cash. I don't see the point of having a shop do something so simple, I would understand maybe if you were getting a full four link front and back, but thats a lot of custom work and know how. But a lift kit is made for the jeep can only go in one way, pretty idiot proof

Ive known matt for years. He pushes BDS really hard.

Id recommend buying the tools you need, and doing it yourself. It would still be cheaper than paying some guy who owns/works in a shop to do it. Plus you will know how everything works.

Or pay a fellow member here to help you do it.

Default Lift Kits Installed in Tinley Park

Might be too late for you Devil but for anyone else, you can check out CPW Truck Stuff in Tinley Park. They did a nice job on my lift and the price wasn't bad either
