I am in Salina as well. I am kind of new to cherokees, I have only had Wranglers. But they are almost identical in alot of ways.

if Yur lookin for a place to wheel around KC best place is manhatton Kansas or Kansas Rocks in ft Scott. There is a few small trails around kc still but not many. Hit me up when u get here I'd give ya the tour. Still wrkn on my new rig. 95 sport 4 door 2wd with 4 inches and Rubicon wheels. Have front axle to build need a tranny and transfer. Hoping to b done by next spring.

I'm in Salina if anyone here local wants to go wheeling. Here's my rig....
When I was stationed at Fort Riley, I'd get up to Tuttle at least twice a month. I'm always up for a trip to Tuttle if someone wants to go. Let me know.....

Hey I'm in Lawrence and would love to go to Tuttle creek this weekend.
I need a valve for the A/C compressor if you have parts. Some moron used vise grips and buggered up the shaft and now it won't seal. Oh and condenser coil too.
I plan to convert to an open radiator since I can't seem to get the closed to work so any open radiator parts off your 88?

and i have to admit i don't understand what you mean by open radiator
