Hey guys,

Went to Gilbert last weekend and on the way back my transmission died. Was leaking where the drivetrain connects to the tranny - was a major leak.

Had to get towed to Virginia and was stranded for a night - had to tow it back to the cities -

Not yet, gonna look into it hard next week.

I had a blast in Gilbert for the first bit - but "on the edge" trail was just a bit above what my xj could handle - bottomed out a few times - I figure it bumped against the tranny cooling/seal lines

Hmmm do you think a 3 inch lift would bottom out?! Your stock right?

I think a 3" lift would be fine on that trail. That's a fun trail but I avoid it when its wet haha.

I'll be going to Gilbert his Saturday. Can't wait!

I will be up there for the crawl, still a long way to go on my white jeep. Got back from dresser last weekend, it was pretty fun, snapped a rear driveshaft in half. It had rained for a week solid before the event so lots of washed out crap

Yeah, I think 3" lift would be able to do it - I'm Stock and I did most of the trails out there except the black diamonds

I am getting a 'new' jeep this weekend. It's all stock and I was wondering about mild trails in the Grand Rapids area. I see mesabi signs all over, are there any OHV portions?

To all that have been to Gilbert OHV:
Do they have an air hose type thing like some gas stations for airing up afterwards?
