I have no idea where to wheel. As far as I know the only club is MIOBI in Central Iowa. You can check them out, a quick Google search will get you to their page. Other than that, I go exploring on the roads the county doesn't maintain.

Jeep outdoor club of central iowa wheels at a privately owned abandoned coal quarry. Looks of fun and its legal unlike level b roads. "mudding" gives a bad name to offroad enthusiasts

The Cliffs Insane Terrain in Marseilles Ill is a good place to wheel. Is not expensive and there are several different levels of trails depending on what your driving. A group from the Quad Cities is going on the 21st of July if your interested.

Membership for jocci is 35$ a year. The last time I was going to go with the qc jeepers to the cliffs it was going to cost 250$ just for the event! I'm not paying that much when other clubs host events that cost 1/10th of that.
