Well the new law is if there is no sign designating it as a legal route from forest service or BLM then it is closed. The technically do not need a closed sign on it.

You want to know what's really going on read or post on rme them guys know just as much. What you wanna know? And as for your wifey boss, since he's county I doubt he has the slightest idea on the government land use or oh regulations. Not many do.
Yeah I bet your right I just want to know what I can do to help fight.. I mean this is my back yard there shutting down literally most of the trail heads are whithin two min from my house. How do people not know about these things guess I will just have to learn as much as I can and inform as many people as I can

Well right now all that can be done is wait. They have a comment period coming up sometime this yr as well as a few meetings. You can keep an eye out for them meetings and goto them to show your support and voice your reasoning. Other than that not much can be done at the moment. And when I lived there it sucked not being able to use them, so I know how ya feel.

work. but i think we wrapped up most of it in february. i wish i woulda put in for deer or elk down there, i saw sooo many there. one heard of elk had about 200
Yeah there are a ton of elk and deer up there this time of year. But when deer season is here all you c are doughs but there are a lot of nice bucks around.. next year put in for it and I can show you around. And next time you come down bring your jeep.
i suppose when you register on a cherokee forum you have entered the realm of the jeeper. im a brand new member as well as a first time jeep owner. I didn't anticipate becoming an enthusiast, but seem more than slightly addicted to throwing parts and upgrades at the "Roach" (1989 XJ Renix).
