Wrong. They are technically closed, bit not officially because there is no sign due to funding. Now if your caught on them there is nothing that can be done. BUT since they are closed if we go on them then it hurts our chances of getting them re opened, and looks worse on us. The BLM illegally closed them which is why the lawsuit. And as for now we ask they be treated as closed until we win the fight and have full legal right to them. Talk to your king crawlers they'll tell you the same except they are part of the problem. (Well most of them)

Well the new law is if there is no sign designating it as a legal route from forest service or BLM then it is closed. The technically do not need a closed sign on it.

Well right now all that can be done is wait. They have a comment period coming up sometime this yr as well as a few meetings. You can keep an eye out for them meetings and goto them to show your support and voice your reasoning. Other than that not much can be done at the moment. And when I lived there it sucked not being able to use them, so I know how ya feel.

Default Greetings from West Jordan

i suppose when you register on a cherokee forum you have entered the realm of the jeeper. im a brand new member as well as a first time jeep owner. I didn't anticipate becoming an enthusiast, but seem more than slightly addicted to throwing parts and upgrades at the "Roach" (1989 XJ Renix).
