Visiting Scottsdale/Fountain Hills Area 1st week of March
Hey all,
I've got a work training at Ft. McDowell or some place outside Fountain Hills Feb 28-March 4. Does anyone know of good places to eat or chill out in the evenings? The only transportation I'll have is a motel shuttle to Fountain Hills.

Well welcome to AZ. Its not flashy or anything....
However, from my experience up there, there isnt much to do. the only cool thing is the fountain, which the city is named after. (google it)
What kind of job training is it?

AZ isn't flashy or anything? Are you kidding me? I live in BFE Wyoming. An Olive Garden is flashy for me. Shoot, I have to drive 2 hours to get to a Costco...and that is in another state! I'll be searching for decent food when I'm there. I've got a freezer full of game meat and we have no shortage of amazing beef around here so I'm ready to do the Thai, Sushi, good Chinese, etc. There had better be a Mexican joint that causes me to think about moving South.
I work for the VA so I have 3 full days of lecture based trainings.

No decent mexican in Arizona? WTF? I want to walk into a restaurant that has the best freakin' mexican ever but you'd never take a date there because it is so dingy she'd leave to go get tested before the food showed.
