UT Local - looking for engine or mechanic

Hello UT and other relatively close peeps - hoping someone may be able to help here. I am a "Jeep guy" but purchased my first XJ a few months back (2000 Classic in fern green). I bought it knowing I would likely have to replace the engine and have spent the last few months working on it and trying to get it to run and drive well while I look for an engine solution. I have been talking to a few local machine shops for a rebuild but it seems most of them don't want the business and quote me some crazy price that is more than a reman option. With the inconsistent QC that I have read about most remans, I am thinking of a lookin for a low mile option. Wondering since most of your crazy bastards have a garage full of parts or rows of doners in your back yards, I wanted to know if anyone has a line on a low mile engine OR has recommendations on shops that I could connect with. I have a great mechanic but looking for other recommendations - options per se.

Appreciate any feedback you all may have - thanks!
