Colorado Springs / Ft. Carson

Looking for some wheeling buddies, any one around the Monument, Co springs, or Ft. Carson area? I spend most of my time going up Upper Gold Camp and Old Stage rd. Mt Baldy area <Almarage>, and up Mt Herman in Monument.

I'm not to far, I'm in Elizabeth. I usually ride around rampart

Nice, your already out in the middle of nowhere. Rampart is a good place. Finally got my jeep trail ready for summer. I plan on a lot of wheeling weekends

Have you been to ram offroad park?

chinookgod Apr 30, 2013 06:20 PM

Not yet, used to fish at rampart as a kid. I just got back in the springs from Germany. Been gone for like 8 years at different stations. Feels good being home. Still have to get a OHV reg

Thank you for your service and Welcome Home!

If I ever get my new (to me) tranny installed I might actually get a chance to wheel mine this summer.

But then again there's that whole "Bald Tires" issue to contend with.....

No problem. Hah I just got "new to me" tires donated by a buddy of mine who upgraded his. I was running stock size tires for better gas mileage and sold my wheeling tires (dumb move).

I just moved to the springs area today, and I will be here through august. I'd love to spend weekends wheeling if anyone doesn't mind showing a newbie the area...
