Did you stay dry in all the rain? It made the trail a lot of fun.

Glad you found the site, Welcome

Thanks again for telling me about it!

We were really lucky on rain, Friday we ran Iron Chest and there was rain all around us, but the trail stayed dry, then there was heavy rain Friday night at Holy Cross and really cool loud rolling thunder and a nice light show on the tent, but everyone had good tents so they stayed dry, then Saturday as soon as we got to the trail, the skies were clearing and hardly any rain all day.

The trail was wet but not bad really, did you guys run Holy Cross?

I would love to pick your brain about Mt Blanca road some time!! It has always been enticing to me, but I have never had a rig that I thought was worthy!!

It's not that tough really, but there's a couple scary spots on shelve sections, even open rigs could do it with a good spotter and maybe a little strapping, but at least one locker is a good idea.

It's a beautiful trail with an awesome summit!

Not really "wheelin" but I enjoy the trails around Telluride.. Black Bear being my favorite..

And yes I know I am not from CO, but my parents live/lived there and I spent some time in the area. I also had plans to move there... Had being the key word.. and I would rather claim CO as my home than my home state of TX.
