the 11th 12th might work for some but i wouldnt be there i have a softball tournament all day the 11th

J/K, but seriously, you started the thread, so you GOTTA be there!! CJXJ, what other dates could you get out? The farther out we put it, the higher the liklyhood I can make it. I'm liking this talk about July. I think I'll be done by next weekend, but I'd like to be able to KNOW I can get finished in time to make this run. So lets try to find a date that we can all agree on.

 

I could probably do August. Anything sooner is a def. no for me.

 

Currently, I have the first 3 weekends of August open.

 

I have time in August too, if that's not too far off for everyone...

ok ladies and gentlemen i have come up with the date and time to meet, place to meet and trails we are running.

Date: August 8th and 9th
Time: 9AM
Where: The Fort Restaurant in Morrison
Trail 1: Chinawall
Trail 2: Chinaman Gulch and for the brave CARNAGE

It will be a family oriented trip so bring the family. im bringing mine. Chinawall has some awesome camping with a lot of tree coverage, and right next to a river, and it is big enough for everyone. i will have some more details in about a week!

 

Sounds good!! FYI, if any of you fish, bring your gear, there is great trout fishing at the river there!! It is a great place to camp as Seth said too, lots of level sites, great for tents!! There is also a cool canyon up river called Box Canyon that we can hike to and play around in. Really looking forward to it guys!!

 

I will be bringing my fishing stuff! i might have someone with a truck follow me so i can carry all my crap lol jk.

So now that we have a while hopefully alot more people can make it!

 

It would great if we could dominate the area with Cherokees!!

FYI, I'll be bringing my wife, so I will ot acting like I normally act...J/K, I'm me regardless!! I don't know if we will have our daughter, teenagers are WAY to cool to hang with the old folks, so we might leave her at a friends house for the weekend. My wife will be doing most of the driving on the China Wall trail run, she loves to drive, and that trail is perfect for her to learn on, even though, the last time she almost rolled my Jeep!! LOL
