The v8 adds $2-3k to the right buyer and a moderately built xj is only a $5,000 rig , so to the right buyer $7-8000. Money into it means nothing here you get pennies for the money spent building . A built rig on tons and 40 still sporting a 4.0 has a larger market than a mild rig with a small v8 .

I've had a great experience building it. That was worth the monies' spent. Just to let those interested, trans and transfer case were rebuilt in 15, and the ford rear end in 16. Its a great running car not a junk yard project. As you say, around here there's no $ and every body has their hand out. I'm looking for someone who will appreciate what their getting.

The price is really high for our area. Built up rigs are going for half of what you're asking. It probably is a good idea to list in other states like you said. Abq is tough to sell in.
