Raifo,
You are pretty close. If you ever need anything, please ask for help.
I'm off for the next 5 days, and if you need anything, I'm always open for helping a fellow XJ'er.
Stay in touch.

Right on man. What part of town do you live in? Know of any decent trails? I only have 2WD as of now, but I went up a pretty fun trail out by Chico Hot Springs. It was fairly mellow, small-medium sized rocks with some ruts and such. It was great until I had to traverse down the whole trail backwards to let a guy out. Further up is fairly gnarly as I have heard. I will let you know, it might be a good place to go eventually. There is probably snow there now.

Raifo,
I work our of Clyde Park and spend so much time goin up and down gravel roads. Where I live, there isn't much in the way of trails, but just north of where I work, There are lots and lots of trails that head up into the Crazies.
I have some great maps of some of the OHV trails around here, but I moved here to work and haven't spent much time in the jeep other than driving to work and back.
We should get together for a beer or something and chat about what's around.

Will do, Scott. Have you installed your 4.5 yet? Would like to see that! Ordering a 3 inch lift this weekend, it will be my first lift, but I am confident I can get it done without too much hassle. Take care man. If you see a little white 2 door with a ziptied front license plate scooting around town give me a wave. Livingston is small, you never know.

Generally, with XJ's, any XJ gets a wave from me around town.
I own a blue 97 with 2 6 inch A-pillar lights. Rough country stickers on the front fenders and a passenger side fender missing a flare. Can't miss me.
4.5 is on and it looks dope.
What are you ordering lift wise?
Best advice is go buy a couple cans of PB Blaster and start sprayin bolts.
Come on over and I'll give you a hand any way I can.
Good luck and keep me posted.

I was planning on getting a 3 inch RC lift, but I ended up replacing my rubbers. I decided that if I want to start dumping money into suspension, engine, and tire modifications I better save my jingles so that I am not working to be broke every paycheck. Oh well though, even the stock XJ with the vacuum bypass mod is fun off-road, and does great up the mountain to work.

Couldn't tell ya about the wheeling in Missoula.
Mine is my DD right now, and I haven't got out much due to work and family.
There are some great trails out here past Livingston and in the winter, they're pretty gnarly, but I work out next to em.
I can give ya some directions if you're interested.
