I was always on JF, but I'm sure I'll be checking this forum a lot more often.

Here is a pic of my YJ. I put a lot of love into her, and was really sad to see her go.

I am really excited to be back in a Jeep though. The XJ will stay pretty mild. Basic maintenance, fix a few things here and there then call it a day. I honestly felt I over built my YJ for the wheeling I did around here.

I'm in Missoula, still sitting bone stock. I've got some new adj. uppers and lowers on order and will be doing a bastard pack in the back. Just gotta save up to finish the lift so until then I would probably be able to only do very mild stuff.

You've got some great places nearby you. I just moved out of Missoula and miss how close places are there. Hell you can even hit the tank trails at Fort Missoula, the cops might chase you off but they don't give tickets.

Just went out yesterday with a buddy and his Cherokee from here in Bozeman shot some guns and found a mud hole got some videos of him none of mine cuz I had doors off and didn't want to spend 5 hours cleaning the inside of the jeep

Fromberg here , and I know 3 other guys in Billings with XJ's

So we need to take a trip here in mod June when everything actually opens I have a couple places mapped out over here in Bozeman but willing to do a little travel as well I know most places open up either June 15th or June 16th. I know it's a long ways away but planning a larger trip sounds fun. Let me know about trails you would like to hit up I could make a poll and we could find the best one for everybody I know a couple up in the Bridgers north of Bozeman that I want to try out other than that my suggestion would be blacktail OHV park near kallispell sorta

Blacktail is a really fun and challenging trail. They are working on a plan to open up around 60 more miles of trails from what I've been reading. I took my YJ up there and had a blast. Each obstacle has by pass if you don't think you can make it.

Anybody down for possibly a mid June trip?

elkwagn 04-08-2012 12:17 PM

Should have the rest of my mods done by then, ready and willing to go! Would be interested in checking out the Blacktail stuff, I am originally from Kalispell and have family up there. As a matter of fact will be up there all this week for work.

Poloboy406 04-08-2012 04:03 PM

I'm down for mid June

jeep4lf 04-08-2012 05:26 PM

I think we should do a trip up blacktail ( i really would love to get a picture of every Montana jeep with a wheel on top of the others wheel before it)

JeepinMT 04-09-2012 08:40 AM

I'm down for a Wild Bill trip. I guess there are bypasses for all the hard stuff so I can still take my stock XJ and see what all you guys can do with your modified Jeeps!

jeep4lf 04-09-2012 10:44 AM

I'm thinking of June 16 or 17 sat or sun doesn't matter to me
