You are correct, there are bypasses for every trail if I remember correctly.

Big Sky Four Wheelers (local club) will be up there at same weekend for a Fathers day campout. They are a great bunch of guys and girls that are very friendly and welcoming.

This thread on Jeepforum is a great thread for talking with other MT Jeepers.

Count me in if I can get all my mods done by then - maybe I'll buy pizza and beer to entice Elkwagn to come down and help me - just got rid of the old trail ready jeep and have the new not trail ready jeep that needs to be worked on...
The good news is that I have about $6500 worth of parts heading my way as we speak
If I can get this jeep back together in time, I'm down!

Default Montana cherokee association

jeep4lf if your thinking a cherokee only group I would suggest MXJA (montana XJ association) or MTXJA (montana XJ assoc) otherwise MCA might imply grand cherokees are welcome .Or MTJA for montana jeep association and all jeeps are welcome.Good idea either way I have been thinking the same was needed for a long time.

Missoula here -- white xj - 2000 on 31's - trimmed, 2.5 exhaust, rack, CAI, bumpin system, and some herculined sides that need touch up... waiting on my tax amendment so I can boost her 3 inches. Trying to avoid SYE for now.

I think I've been to that trail near Deerlodge - up to Rock Creek Lake? was washed out last year --- BURLY. Hit me up, honkies.

MTXJA's first announcement to the public

After some long thought and a little research I am now starting MTXJA llc. I am hoping to do at least 3-4 events this year open to all vehicles currently I have a couple of people I have been working with, I have someone that will help with Internet (possible website), a business coordinator, and a business advisor.

I will be looking for these areas to be filled.
Business advocation- this person would pretty much advertise and would have at some point a decent amount of money to work with but for now would be small things like posting on forums and such.

Event coordination team - pretty much filled by everyone but if you register through MTXJA and submit an event that is used you will be given some sort of prize ( this will hopefully later be filled by an actual team of people).

A person or a group of people to help write a business plan, I have done a couple so far in my short lifetime but input by someone going to school for something like this or someone who has been through it would be nice.

There will be more spots opening as things get a move on any contribution would be a big help

Over All plan is to someday open a garage here in Bozeman and influence other groups to do the same in other states as well as run events throughout all of Montana and possibly set up events around the western us.

If your interested please let me know by telling me a little about yourself and how you would like to help and why you would be good at it please also tell where you are located i want people from all around the state.
