Walnut Creek/ East Bay - Where are some trails?!
I live in Walnut Creek, CA and I was wondering if there are any trails around me in the East Bay. Im aware that i live in the middle of a city and more modernized place, so i get ill have to drive a while to get to decent trails. I know theres Carnegie and Hollister, I've never been there but want to try them at some point. My jeep isn't super built yet, so trials and stuff on the easier part would be nice. Just want to know whats out there! thanks

You can have some fun at Carnegie OHV near Livermore. A little extra driving will get you to Frank Raines OHV near Patterson on I-5. Frank Raines has a lot to offer. Plenty or challenge. I don't think you'll find much in the Bay Area.

I know I'm late to the thread here, but Knoxville is pretty darn close, just near lake berryessa. It is all fire roads and pretty easy stuff. I'd only recommend it during spring or winter though, it's gnarly hot in the summer. Also, here's a link to the CA BLM/OHV map, I use it all the time.

Bay Area transplant
Hey all, just moved to San Jose from Los Angeles. Looking for wheeling buddies to hit some trails. Haven't been anywhere out here yet, besides on my own property. But if anyone wants to check out Livermore soon, I would be up for it.
