So I've done quite a few things. I took off the TB and cleaned it really well, cleaned the IAC and ran seafoam through the vacuum to the brake booster. Also I had a squealing when I started up sometimes that would go away after a few seconds to a minute, so I adjusted the idler pulley and got the correct amount of tension. I also ran the jeep with the temp sensor out to allow whatever air was in the cooling system to bleed out.

After all of that it runs much better, idles better and the power is back. I did notice that the check gauges is coming from an oil pressure reading, not it overheating.

I have no oil starvation sounds and have driven it a few hundred miles since the light started flickering on. It only comes on at idle sometimes and the pressure drops to 0, as soon as I start moving the light goes off and the pressure goes up. I'm thinking its a faulty oil pressure sending unit. But otherwise the power is back and it runs strong again.

Can overheating cause a lean condition that would rob me of power, thats the only thing I can think of that happened when I went up that mountian
