Demographic changes here?

I have put in requests like this here before and OD green and Lee have been very gracious enough to consider a request and weigh it with fairness. I have another one that might be very important in demographics. Would it be possible to consider renaming a category to the "Tristate" area? SoCal, Nev and Arizona?

I ask this because being local in this area every major off road Jeep related event for this tristate area is happening in Las Vegas Nv, Laughlin Nv and Lake Havasu Az. This tristate area is the "go to" for most of Socal, all of Nv, and all of Az. This is where they hold SCORE and other events so it would be great to list this as it's own demographic area despite the differences in fuel prices. lol

It would be much appreciated if you might consider this change here. There are very few common events for us in Az with the four corners area where we are now listed. We are kind of not able to get together with others concerning local events in our areas here because everything is actually happening for us here in Socal, Nevada and Az in the Tristate area.

Example, last week end there was a big off road Jeep event in Lake Havasu City Az and there was not one mention of it. I think a lot might have to do with the fact that we are lumped in with the four corners area here and it just doesn't truly fit for us as comrades in Jeeps.

Thank you for taking the time to consider this. We would like to enjoy our demographics as much as the Florida brotherhood thread does if possible. Colorado and New Mexico are not really part of ours in reality, we never have a thing in common. It is all about the Tristate area here. :)

I hear ya, I am in the same boat with being in NorCal. SoCal is 500 miles away and there is never any mention of anything in my end of the state.

If you were part of the tristate area all you would have to do is drive over to Nv and our neck of the woods, Lot of interstate stuff going on down here. And a lot of great folks to rub shoulders with!l lol

Point is we could keep each other abreast of all the important happenings in the tristate area here. The four corners classification just doesn't fit the real demographics for us all over here in Ca, Nv and Az.

Seriously... It is inaccurate for our true demographics.

Thanks. I do make it to Reno, sometimes beyond. I was raised at Tahoe. I know there is lots of unadvertised wheeling out in the washes and canyons

Oh man... Lots of common events for us. And lots of good folks who would put you up to come and participate! One of my best friends lives in Dyer, just south of walker lake. He comes this way all the time for events. I'm sure you know where that is?. :)

Yes, I think I do. But going to have to do some major work on the XJ before it goes anywhere. Motor is shot

Hey! you don't have to be running to come and enjoy. Just caught up with a kid I watched grow up. He came all the way from Louisiana to be at the Lake Havasu Az meet! Does it every year! He runs swamp buggies and XJ's back there but always comes out to be part of this without a rig because it is such a good meet. This is a nation wide event that does not get enough recognition. One of the reasons I am asking about this on this board. :)

It will be awhile for me. Putting all the spare cash into the XJ. Plan to have an engine and axle upgrade for next summer
