I live up is Pismo, which is about 80 miles from you. And the Dunes are here!

We should get together for a run through the dunes come spring. that'd be rad. Especially after I put in the 4.5" lift thats sittin on my doorstep back home...

Default Hot springs in SB
I lived in Santa B for several years and gotta throw out Big Caliente and Little Caliente Hot Springs back in the Los Padres nat'l forest. Nothin' difficult as far as forest service roads go, but if you drive out in the winter when the roads are super saucy then the trek out is on par with the rewards of the springs. Bring your lady out and camp near the springs on a clear night.
