2107 Cherokee Trailhawk RV towing

I’m having my 2017 Cherokee Trailhawk set up to tow behind my RV with all four on the ground. Just trying to find out if anyone else does this.

thanks Buschnut

Lots of people, but not many on this forum. You'll have better luck on one of the RV forums.

One thing I've always thought when I've seen a vehicle of any kind being towed behind a RV, is why?
I mean there is the lower cost of not having a trailer instead.... but wouldn't the cost of a trailer over time out weigh the extra wear on the vehicle being towed on the ground? Just curious. :)

For those who are travelling to campgrounds and RV parks there is typically no place to store the trailer once at your destination. Also you will have yearly licensing costs on the trailer and the wear and tear you save on the vehicle are simply moved to the trailer's tires, brakes, etc.

setting up for flat tow

In the process of setting up a 2017 to flat tow. Want to use a Roadmaster 8700 Invisibrake. Etrailer responded to my question if the 8700 was compatible with the 2017 Cherokee. They responded: " The Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System # RM-8700 is a confirmed fit for your 2017 Jeep Cherokee as long as it does NOT have a non-electric hydroboost braking system."

Anyone know if the 2017 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk does or does not have a non-electric hydroboost braking system?

Etrailer contacted me yesterday saying that note was for older Jeeps and did not apply to the 2017.
