Default Where to scrap a car?

Hey do any of you have recommendations as to where to scrap a car near the Lacey/Spanaway areas? I have a parts car that I tore up, doesn't have any wheels or suspension, nor engine or trans so I assume pick n pull won't want it.

You could just scrap the body. Find a place that will give you cash for the metal. If it has interior parts ect. Pick n' pull will take damn near anything. I'd check with them no matter what. What kind of vehicle is it?

Fife has two places that will take it. Calbags and can't remember the other name but they are right by each other. Just remember they need proof of ownership to scrap it. If you want to swing by my place on the way I've got a ton of metal I'm too lazy to take down .

It's an 88 Prelude that was in a front end accident that I bought as a parts car. It's essentially stripped except the interior is pretty intact still

I sent a quote request to Pick N Pull, we'll see what they have to say.

I have a signed title but not a title in my name, I hope that'll be good enough. I did this with a parts truck when I was still in Texas and they took a signed title, then again there was one large salvage yard that took pretty much whatever you have, and they had a forklift to lift the truck off the trailer. Around here it seems to be mostly small metal scrap places and I know the one I went to to scrap a washer and some parts wouldn't even take car body panels.

Thanks for the link, I'll look into Calbag.

bought an old k5 for parts a couple years back.. took what i needed, sold a few other things, then me and my buddy chopped the entire thing into pieces with a sawzall. loaded the chunks into a trailer and took it down to a metal recycling place and got a couple hundred bucks for scrap

There's a scrap yard on 130th and canyon that has really nice people that work there and have fair prices taken 4 vehicles there. Just make sure you have the title

Pick n pull quote $219
Calbag quote $185 per net ton

I will probably call and make sure the title will be fine as is then take it to the Pick n pull this weekend sometime [if I can figure out how to get it on my trailer], my assumption is it's about 1700-1800 lbs as-is and I know PnP will short me a bit, but the Calbag quote is only ~$155 at that rate.

Any advice on getting it on the trailer? Keep in mind no wheels or suspension of any kind, no engine or trans but the trunk is full of stuff I've pulled off but haven't sold. It's in my Garage on jack stands as high as they will go. Was thinking about bolting some casters to the front and trying to back the trailer under it, but if my Jeep is hauling it the back of the trailer might be too high to fit under it. Any other ideas?
