Hey!! also, where is the junkyard at that you found a 91 to rob parts off of. There are others I would like to get off of it. I found out Saturday just how quick your day can be ended by small $30 dollar part. Once that track bar end link breaks, I have no steering.

It was down here in tacoma, I think I paid 15 for it. And I was able to fix my other one. I took the flares off of it but it had mostly everything else, no xmsn or tcase. It's wierd that it bolts in but the hub itself is shallower and bigger than the old ones.

Good to know if I ever need to get another one. I won't look at getting from a 90 or older XJ.

Bobby, so , I talked with the Tech, guy at Rusty's off road, today. I will be able to buy just the HD track bar mount and the threaded end with the loop bushing and use the rest of my old track bar. It's gonna cost me $102.00 shipped to my front door. I'm saving about $120.00 by not having to buy the whole TB and HD mount.

Painted and installed the grill out of an 01 I picked up a few months back. And broke down and purchased some new wheels:
And yes, I will be leaving these Black. I have 2 months to get the gears done before the XJ heads to it's new home in Wyoming, so I have to focus on gears once the wheels are installed.

I had to call back a 2nd time. The 1st time the guy was trying to sell me the whole kit at $230.00 counting TB Mount and shipping. So, they did do their typical Rusty's thing and then when I started asking the tough questions ha said well, I guess you could buy just the mount...caught them this time.

Finished The install of my new Clutch and realized that i new need to replace the Cross member Nuts cuz they are about to strip out. Looking for ideas on how to replace them. Best i can come up with is to cut a whole in my floor and get at them.... also realized that the rear pinion is getting worn and my u-joint is sliding back in forth in to so my new axle may need to go in before i really wanted to put it in... Which means i neeed to rebuild the brakes on the new axle. Good bye 3.07 gear set hello 4.10s....

so i started my modification process today. i got my drop bracket supports mounted and started taking apart my front end. i took all the steering off and got my new track bar mount in place. i took the upper control arms off and the front driveline and rear drivelines off.
i am getting ready to swap in my new front end and do the sye and 6.5 inch lift.
