i installed a lockright in the front of my dana 30 in was used, and it works great i wheeled evans with it but when i installed it i didnt use these two cap type deals and i am just curious what are they. this pic isnt of my locker but those two caps in the middle are what im talking about.

Thrust washers, they go over the axles and hold the c-clips on in my axle, you have a d30 with no c clips but im sure hey act as a spacer or something also.

 

maybe someone will know im i did not see how they would of worked in the dana 30 carrier. i figured it was for protection in shipping.

yeah that was a dumb mistake but it was like 12am on a friday night no internet available should of waited till morning the locker teeth are most likely stripped, i honestly could not find any info on it on the net so i called a local shop today and he told me where they belong. oh well i paid $100 for it on craigslist. you live and ya learn. i honestly am usually not stupid enought to believe in the term "extra parts" so that why i looked into it more, its embarassing but no one knows everything so you gotta learn somewhere somehow.
