project full width
ya im gonna make some steel ones for the rear and maybe just some generic wrangler ones or something for the front. there is no way i will be able to cover the whole tire so i will just do my best to cover some of it and see how it goes
so i pulled the rear and got the sixty thrown in the rear and got the leaf spring mounts and shock mounts welded on. but as i was mounting the shocks on the front and the rear i noticed something. i will only be able to fit the 10" travel shocks in the front and the rear. with the 10" shocks in the front i will have about 4ish inches of up travel on the shock and a decent amount of down travel. the rear wont fit the 12" shocks at all. i ran these in the rear with the normal stock shock mounts and it was fine. but now that im moving the mounts up farther they will be waay to long.
i will post up some pictures of what i got done in the next couple days.
rear locker, install kit, and the last of my TREs should be here this week to finish the build.
so if anyone has a set of 10" travel bilstein shocks i will trade ya!

For as much as I see XJ dana 44's going for I might be able to fund a project like this just by selling mine. So for the front were you able to stick with your old t-case. And without narrowing it down will the axle sit where it needs to without any modifications. Like it wont sit to far to the drivers side or vice versa.
Looks good dude i live in bonney lake to and i recently full sized my xj.
good news! i ordered my detroit and install kit sunday night and they both showed up today! dropping the rear end off tomorow afternoon to get evrything installed. last couple days i got my front shock mounts made and shocks mounted up, welded all the mounts on the rear end, mocked up the brakelines, and got the rear end all painted up and lookin pretty. here are a couple pics

Does anybody wanna take bets on how long he keeps the 35"s on there. Do you think your gas mileage will increase or decrease. I am feeling the pain at the pump with 35's too.
