Un hook ur sway bar when wheeling

Prototype4342 05-16-2013 10:40 PM

Just leave the rear sway bar off

I took my front one off when I lifted it, didn't have extended links. Haven't regretted it, The stiffer coils counteracted the increased body roll pretty well.

Wrong length shocks?

Remove them temporarily and see if it makes a difference.

How is it driving the streets without the sway bar?
I've been thinking about this but it's my DD

Mines fine without the front, it depends how stiff your coils are for the front.

I can tell when my bars are disconnected but its not bad at all! Definitely doable

Unless you drive like F1 in corners you won't notice the rear bar off. I would leave the front connected, especially if you're mostly stock. Had my rear bar off since my first trip to Tahuya a few months ago, done just fine. I just disconnect the front when I wheel

I have not had my sway bars hooked up since January. sway bars are over rated. I drive 40 miles or more a day

Coils are new I put them in with my lift in October

Lifted, big tires, and no sway bars and I dont have a problem. It will take time getting used too but like prototype said... Dont take a corner at high speeds.

another vote for no sways.. removed my rear, and bolted my front up out of the way. Been driving without it for quite a while now, and I really don't miss it. Next step will be removing it completely.
