Aw man, I wanna go back up there sometime, but I feel like the XJ needs a little more work before another real trail outting.

 

Oh come on. You did great last time. Especially when we had to go around those other rigs on the lower 520. and you hammered down and made it, and the blue cherokee on 33's got high centerd, and I almost got high centered and dented the **** out of my rocker panel.

 

Well if I had a few more things on the rig, I could at least be a bit more confident in it.

The spot where you broke your window is the same spot I got my first two dents. Two days in a row! But I was 3.07 open diff then... Post up when you're going again, I'd love to give it another shot

I am 4.56 and locked haha, i think i need new shoes cause i was not catchin at all.... i actually broke my mirror off too but it snapped back on, that was a tricky bugger... i felt like a fool cause a bastard lift xj with 31's went up the "easier" lane and came right up the ***** haha Oh well....

 

Haha, sometimes there's just no making sense of it. This last weekend I was crawling all over a friends FJ. He was locked up front and rear, and I'm only limited slip in the rear with aussie up front and balding swampers. You never know! I almost made it up with my 3.07 open diffs, but when my buddy's pulled me up they didn't stop when I was up it, and yanked me into both trees at the top. My b-day's the 24th and I'll probably be going up there if you wanna give it another shot! Redemption time....

 

Cant do it during the week or else i would i wanna do a CF run up there some time soon

 

looks like you guys had a great group. i think you went by my son and i as you were heading up 520. we were looking for our friends at the campsites as you were just leaving. we tried 520 but the kid broke something in his front dif, no 4 wheel. i think it was the pinion but haven't pulled it apart. post when you head out again we're up for a CF run.
