You can always do a ride a long till then if your are comfortable with it. Like buck said, just keep an eye out on the forums for some wheeling runs we plan

Found the L-style T60 at O'Reilly's, thankfully, so I can at least get the oil change and OFA o-rings replaced.

Found shims/center pins, but it looks like I'm going to need to find longer U-bolts...Should I just get 1/2" regardless of what's in there now, or would 1/2" fit if the originals happen to be 7/16"? (Would rather not have to remove and run to parts store)

edit* -- One more newb question...What's the difference between grade5 and grade 8 hardware? Will grade 5's work?
for center pins i would just use some grade 8 bolts, especially if you see any offroading. difference between grade 5 and 8 is strength. they test the strengh of the bolt on how much PSI it can take, i think grade 8 is like 22000 psi per square inch or something like that. just get grade 8, also get stainless steel hardware if is is outside your jeep, or it will rust.

for the u-bolts, are you talking about the bolts for the leaf springs? just get the universal ones for the size tubing you have on your axle
